Faut bien retenir quand même que les produits qu'elle utilise sont adaptés pour elle. Donc pour les fans, ça ne sert à rien de faire exactement comme elle

Vous pouvez me dire comment ils gèrent la longueur des cheveux? On dirait qu'elle les a au carré la avec une frange... Et BIM 2 jours après elle a les cheveux longs sur Castle sans frange

Y aurait-il une possibilité pour que la miss porte une péruque ? Après tout Susan en porte bien une pour Castle et on ne voit pas de différence.

C'est possible ouais m'enfin elle a de si beaux cheveux et ça semble être les siens

Susan c'est vraiment archi bien fait, ils ont les meilleurs coiffeurs maquilleurs et les perruques les plus chères sur les SET américains mais quand même, ça se voit toujours un peu que c'est faux et la on dirait bien des vrais cheveux

Franchement, je sais pas et puis sa couleur de cheveux est quand même beaucoup plus clair sur Castle (ok, les couleurs ça existe).
J resterais bien sur mon idée de péruque quand même, je me plante totalement peu etre ou alors les coiffeurs font des miracles en quelques heures.

T'as peut-être raison ! D'façon on voit pas grand chose sur la photo ! Faudrait des bons BTS de bonne qualité et tant qu'a faire faut qu'on voit le film aussi

Comme d'hab je comprend un mot sur 10 donc je vais pas être d'une grande aide et je vais demandé des précisions aux spécialistes anglophones. . Est ce que c'est une itw fait avec un journaliste lors du Castle USC ou autre ou des bouts d'itw reconstituer pour former une news ? car j'ai une peu de mal à identifier le truc en lisant (mélange récit du journaliste qui pose les questions et les réponses d'Andrew et Stana ? ).

Juste par rapport à tes deux points Jenny, je pense que c'est aussi du tease, car si Marlowe dit "il était une fois un écrivain et sa muse, ils se mariairent et eurent beaucoup d'enfants" ça laisse moins de suspent. Idem pour Stana, Kate doit se poser la question de savoir s'il est son "one and done" mais je me fais pas trop de soucis la dessus.

J'ai pas compris le passage avec Tamala ?

Le journaliste qui demande l'air de rien s'il y a quelqu'un pour l'aider à déplacer les meubles en rapport avec ce qui est dit plus haut sur le magasin de ses parents. J'aime la réponse diplomatique de Stana "I kiss but I never tell." mais qui une fois traduit signifie "Ma vie privée ne regarde que moi donc fouter moi la paix "

FROM CASTLE TO BUENOS AIRES

Stana Katic, the actress that plays detective Kate Beckett in the series Castle is visiting Argentina, and in her stay in Buenos Aires she is not asking for the best restaurants or for the nearest shopping malls. What interest the canadian born actress are the details about the local subway, and to know if it is true, as she sensed in her first sightseeing of the city, if the locals practice so much yoga as it seems by the many places dedicated to it that she saw. Her curiosity and the wish to learn what is beneath the surface is something that she lent her character Kate Beckett, one of the more interesting female characters in todays TV.

“Beckett is supposed to be the best detective in the team, the boys are also very good, but she is the one to follow. I like it to be this way. From the beginning the creators of the show wanted her to be a strong character, a woman that is good at her job and that has little tolerance for fooling around”, explains the actress.

Of course after four seasons and a plot that had her suffering for the unsolved murder of her mother, in this fifth year of the series everything is little less dramatic for Beckett. A big role in this change has to do with the long delayed and finally materialized romance with writer Richard Castle that chose her as his muse for his novels. A relationship that Katic herself had been lobbying with the writers of the show who finally granted her wish.

“At some point they had to give her character space to show how she is beyond her work life. They had to throw in some fun so that it didn´t become to solemn and boring. Also, I think that nobody would believe that apart from being an authority figure, she didn´t have other interests apart from her job. Besides, there has to be a reason why she feels attracted to this man that is so different than her. It can´t be that it is only because she lives through his follies“, explains Katic, and rolls her eyes used to that in Hollywood it is usual that that female characters are mere companions of the adventures of the male characters. It is not the case with Castle, that now has the challenge that achieving a growing lightness of her character and the expected, although subtle, maturity of his character, doesn´t mess up the equilibrium of the series that is a phenomenon beyond the TV. There are books written by Richard Castle, and even comic books dedicated to the adventures of Nikki Heat, the character created with Beckett as a muse. A universe that has brought Katic close to having a miniature toy doll representing her. Something that could happen soon, especially if her wish of trying luck as an action female character in the movies comes true.

“I woud love to do risk scenes in front of a green screen. I think it would be a fun experience to practice my ninja moves for the cameras in one of those movies. I did something similar for the film The Spirit, based in a comic directed by Frank Miller. It was similar as working in experimental theater where you have an empty stage and everything has to arise from imagination. Ir requires a type of interpretation that is very peculiar, it is very interesting. The truth is that I feel very comfortable in any set”, says the actress that in recent time participated in the cast of two expected films of the independent circuit. In one of them she appears in CBGB, film about the history of the legendary New York bar, essential place of the north American punk movement, where she plays Genya Gavan, and important singer of the movement.

“I needed and experience beyond the TV cycle, the possibility of playing a different character, and play in a different stage. In this case I got to play a real character, Genya Gavan, whom I met. She is fabulous, has a wonderful voice, I sat with her to listen to her music, to hear her stories about the incipient punk movement in New York. She was part of that world, she was a friend of the CBGB owner, Hilly Kristal, that is played by Alan Rickman. Most of my scenes were with him and with Rupert Grint”, remembers Katic, with a smile, for having spent so much time with the players of the Harry Potter saga for the delight of all the young ones that past by during the shooting of the film. To show that she is capable of much more than playing the detective that made her known, the other movie she was on was BIG SUR where she played Leonor Kandel, that will have its world premier in the Sundance Festival in February. Other character based in a real person, other artist ant another strong woman for Katic that, even though she doesn´t come from a family related with show business, she says she always dreamt of doing. “ I wanted to explore the point of view of other people, their lives. I love it. I always wanted to do this because I felt that experimenting only one life wasn´t enough for me.”, says the actress, and she stays wondering, as if she was looking for other motives as to why she does what she since she was a kid decided she would do in the future. She stays quiet, smiles more for her that for the rest of the world and she says: “ Yes, it is because of that that I decided to be an actress”.

Escape to Los Angeles

With her vocation firm and after a detour through law school, “I thought that I was going to save the world an that this thing about acting wasn´t very practical”, Katic started to think in leaving Chicago and start her acting formation and try luck in Hollywood.

“It was a tough decision. I remember that I was trying to take it and decided to leave it to luck. I threw some dices and decided that if that if the dice landed a particular number I would leave. It did. Then I decided the month, I threw the dice and I got the number” she remembers laughing, although right away the laughter turns into emotion. “When I was about to leave, I was very nervous for everything that was coming and because it was going to be a long four day trip travelling alone, and I didn´t know if my old car was going to resist the trip. Then my mom gave my a necklace of her and told me it would protect me. That was all, I said goodbye to her, my dad, brothers, and left”, tells the actress, and the memories of that time moves hers almost to tears. Right away she laughs because she recognizes this was only the beginning of her adventure in Los Angeles, a city that is not precisely friends with the myriad of want to be actors that make up an important part of its population.

“It is a city so big in which you never feel that you are in a city because it doesn´t have a downtown. Distances are huge, people are more time alone than in any other place that I know, and most of the time I spent it the car in the middle of transit”, explains the actress that decided to stop whining and do something to help to change the city where she lives. That’s haw the Aternative Travel Proyect was born, an initiative that encourages using other means to travel besides a car. “One day I was in my car and it was the first time that I was traveling in the companions seat because my brother was visiting and he was driving, it was a wonderful experience, so relaxing not having to worry about traffic and the possibility of crashing, that I started to look at the city in another way. It is a place full of talented, creative people, with a lot of influence, that shouldn´t have problems to start this idea of a better city, more enjoyable and less associated to a car. The resources are there, the only thing needed is that, for example, Tom Cruise take the subway one time”, concludes Katic, that in these days will make her own subway trip, this time in Buenos Aires.
